I have been developing an Android app to communicate with LED module via Bluetooth. I was the only software developer with zero prior experience (except for MOOC on Android development). LED modules purchased from China with Bluetouth module installed had their own internal protocol shipped with native Android App. Native App lacked desired functionality, so the objective was to develop an in-house app implementing the underlying protocol. Prior to developing an app I figured out and broke down the communication protocol implemented in the LED module, and then successfully fullfilled it in my own application. The result of my 8 month job was a working App in alpha testing, getting ready for beta testing. By the end of the year 2015 financing of the project stopped and I had to leave the company.
